Software Engineer Intern
Worked on iOS during a three-month software engineering internship in San Francisco. Easily my best internship experience: I learned so much, and I loved everyone on my team.

NextFoundArtist
Software Engineer Intern
Worked as a software engineering intern at NextFoundArtist in New York for five months. The work structure was… a mess. I did learn a lot about web development, though, so at least the chaos was educational.

Environmental Leaders of Color
Computer Science Teaching Assistant
Taught computer science and R to a class of 20+ high school students. I had a great time borrowing the fun activities my college professors used on me, but the experience once again strengthened my belief that my mission on Earth is not to be a teacher.

Fordham University
Research Assistant (Computer Vision)
Supported computer-vision research at Fordham University as a research assistant. In truth, I mostly had no idea what was happening. A professor was kind enough to let me into his lab and learn a little about computer vision, but for a newbie in computer science, it was so freaking confusing. I still had a good time trying to understand it, though.

Campton Birch
Project Management Intern
Volunteered as a project management intern for a startup founded by alumni from my school. They were very, very sweet, and I got a front-row seat to the early mess of starting a company. Chaotic, educational, and somehow full of spreadsheets.
