My era: Jul 2021 — Sep 2022 Podcast: Jul 2021 — still going

I started by interviewing my classmates, then people I knew from school, then people I knew and admired, and eventually people I did not know at all. A suspiciously functional progression.

It began with just me. Then it grew into a team of editors, content creators, and HR. I am no longer there, but the new team is doing better than ever: more professional, still thriving, and now making video too. The child has a camera crew.

A media project for collecting Vietnamese stories across New York City. I had so much fun talking to people, photographing them, and hearing the kinds of stories that do not normally introduce themselves.

Then I got too busy and aborted the project, lol. Short-lived, but very alive while it lasted.

I wrote mainly in Vietnamese during my senior year of high school, when I somehow did a ridiculous number of new things.

Honestly, my goal in life is to try as many new things every year as I did that year. This is an unreasonable benchmark. I am keeping it.
